The following conferences/symposia are not part of the education activities for ATVB/PVD 2016.
  • The 30th Annual Vascular Research Initiatives Conference                                                                                                                                                                                                                      
VRIC 2016 is sponsored by the Society for Vascular Surgery® (SVS), and will be held on May 4, 2016 in Nashville, Tennessee. There is a separate registration to attend this meeting. Researchers are encouraged to submit an abstract on the ATVB submission site for consideration at VRIC. VRIC registrants will receive a US $100 registration discount on ATVB/PVD 2016 Registration. 
KinMet 2016 is Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Omni Nashville Hotel from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. Scientists interested in lipoprotein and cellular metabolism and kinetic modeling are invited to attend  There is no additional cost to attend this meeting, and all registrants are invited.

  • 5th Annual Spring HDL Workshop 
6th Annual Spring HDL Workshop in conjunction with the Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology Scientific Sessions – Nashville, , May 7th and 8th,  2016, Omni Nashville Hotel.
This workshop is an intimate and informal gathering of experts in HDL research. Its focus includes controversial and emerging topics in HDL structure and function, bringing experienced and young scientists together in an open forum. The objective of the meeting is to encourage lively debate and dialogue.
